Episode 20: The Chicken Coop Murders

Warning! The following podcast is intended for mature audiences. It contains graphic descriptions of crime scenes, adult dialogue, and strong language. Listener discretion is advised.

Hey, Buds!

This is my first episode dedicated to a true crime.

Gordon Northcott was a Canadian who abducted, abused, "rented," and murdered young boys in California. His specific crimes branched out into many different stories and situations/events that resulted in some pretty significant changes at the time. While each branch of the story is interesting, I've focused on the main story that inspired it all. Perhaps in future episodes, I will feature those other stories.

I will be the first to admit that the format in this episode leaves room for improvement, but with that in mind, no one starts something as an expert. As I learn and get better, so will the content.
Make sure to check out my website (if you're reading this on Spotify) and find the post on the homepage about my nephew Matthew. Click on the "Donate" button and make a donation of any size to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory (or in honour/memory of anyone you'd wish).

Below you can find a list of all of the sources I used for this episode.

Thank you for listening to today's episode! I'll see you next week!
